Goddess of the Dunes professional belly dance company is situated in Johannesburg. We are a team of dedicated women who collectively have over 50 years of teaching and performing the art of belly dance. Our dancers are both captivating and polished in their performances.

Having a belly dancer at a bridal shower is a truly memorable experience and an exciting way to celebrate a special occasion. Belly dance is a very popular option for bridal showers and provides women with a community where the love of music, dance and joy is shared and celebrated. Its suitable for all ages, sizes and is alot of fun.

We start the session off with a short demonstration of 10-15min with fire, sword balancing and veil. After the performance we teach the bride and guests basic belly dance steps in fun combinations. As part of lesson we provide belly coin hip scarves for each participant to wear during the session. The bride receives a gift bag which includes a belly coin belt, a diamante tiara and a FREE private belly dance lesson at any one of our studios.

We travel to all areas Sandton, Fourways, Pretoria, West Rand, Midrand, East Rand and South.
