Situated in Centurion but accepting commissions countrywide, Gerhard & Lee du Toit – Creative Photography offers you two photographers on YOUR wedding day, capturing your memories in a fun & professional manner. Their style can be described as photo-journalistic with a creative and arty approach. All photo’s are processed and supplied to you in high resolution, with options of photo prints, Standard Coffee Table books, Elite Coffee Table Books, Designer Albums and Furi Fine Art Albums available. They only accept ONE wedding per day to offer you full coverage of up to 12 hours on YOUR wedding day.

Your wedding day is undeniably one of the most important occasions in anybody’s life. That is the day that you want everything to be perfect – and the photographer you choose will play an important part to ensure that your Big Day is captured in such a way that it will keep all your wonderful memories fresh and alive, every time you revisit your wedding album.


Your Big Day is being planned and many arrangements need to be made between all the excitement and anticipation for what lies ahead.  Here is a short summary of who we are and why we can claim that we have a unique, professional approach to every wedding to ensure that our services will enhance the wonderfulness of your Big Day – and create wonderful memories for the rest of your life.


My name is Gerhard du Toit and together with my wife, Lee we create an accurate, unforgettable and enjoyable reflection of your wedding – from the preparation, all the way through till late into the evening of your Big Day. We believe in the fun aspect that a wedding day invariably brings; the importance of individual, couple, and family portraits; and most of all, to capture all the special moments.


All our photos are taken digitally with professional Canon equipment, and all digital darkroom post-processing are done personally. This ensures that your reproductions are of exceptional quality.


Every wedding is an individual affair and has its own requirements. We therefore design all our packages around your requirements and take into consideration all aspects of your Big Day.


We encourage couples who consider using our services to set up a meeting with us – with no obligation from your side. This will give you the opportunity to get to know us, view our existing portfolio and examples of current products we offer you. It is also of the utmost importance that you feel comfortable with your photographers, enabling you to relax and be the perfect model for perfect photos.

Here is what we offer you for your wedding:

Not only one, but TWO photographers on the day. With Lee and myself both covering your wedding – each from a different angle – literally nothing will be lost for future memories.
We only accept ONE wedding for the day, in order to give exclusive attention to YOUR wedding. Because we are two photographers, we do not only give pre-wedding attention to the bride (as is mostly the case with wedding photographers) but give quality attention to the groom as well.
We will be available on your wedding day from early morning till 21:30 / 22:00, covering every single activity between the two of us – from make-up, getting dressed, bride & groom portraits, the ceremony, group photos, bridal couple photos, reception, first dance, garter & bouquet, and more) 10 to 12 hours of coverage on your wedding day.
Our price includes all digital post processing of the photos – including special effects, black & whites, sepia tint, and soft focus where required.
You are welcome to give creative input in the above processes
All photos making the final selection will be placed on CD / DVD for you in High Resolution – this is the equivalent of receiving the negatives, and will enable you to do future printing of all your photos (300 – 600 processed images)

A wedding day is the day you will remember for the rest of your life…

Our day was extremely special - what made it even more special was Gerhard and Lee!!!! They are just the best - always smiles, laughs and fun. They give the best service any Bride& Groom can ask for. We have known Gerhard and Lee for a few years, been on shoots with them so there was no doubt in our minds that they will be our wedding Photographers they are just the BEST BEST BEST !!!!

When we first met Gerhard and Lee, we just knew they have a passion for their work.

They are not like “other” photographers that only do it for the money, but when you work with them, you can see that they really LOVE what they do.

The pictures they took of our wedding, were above our expectations. When I first had a look at my wedding album, the emotions that were flooding through my body on our special day, just came back. They have the capability of not only capturing the moment, but also capturing the emotions on the photos as well. They go the extra mile to make sure your photos are the way you want it.

Hi everybody!

WOW, AHHH, AWESOME, UBER COOOL!!! These are just some words to describe Gerhard & Lee!!!

I will not just recommend you to make use of Gerhard Lee as your photographers I will tell you that if you want your special day captured by THE BEST ever – then Gerhard Lee are just what you are looking for!

Not only do they take the most SPECIAL photo’s (example: I’m the bride with the 4 bridesmaids around me), but they make you feel comfortable, laugh a lot (like you should on your wedding day) and to them its not just a job – they LOVE what they do and you can see it in their work!

We had so much FUN on our wedding day and the photo’s came out STUNNING!! Not to mention the album (it took us a while to select the photo’s for the album, bacause ALL of them were AWESOME!!!) We LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Gerhard & Lee!!!

Where do we begin…these two are truly the X-factor at any wedding!!!!

The day we started planning our perfect wedding we went to Gerhard and Lee first thing. From the moment we met it was awesome! They are so nice and they are extremely good at what they do and most important they LOVE doing it!

For them it’s all about you!!! They make you feel so important and so special. They love people and they where surely a key element at our wedding. They know what will and will not work and they will never ever refuse you if you ask them that it be done your way.

The bonus of having 2 photographers for the price of one on your special day is truly a must have!!! Usually it’s all about the bride but Gerhard made my husband feel so special and it is so nice to have photo’s of hubby getting ready and seeing him all exited….things most brides will never see or know of.
And for the bride, Lee has some surprises for you as well. They are just so daring and professional at the same time it’s unbelievable!!! Take for instance our photo of us and the horse, they asked if I wouldn’t mind getting my feet a little dirty and just look at that..wish you could see the rest!!

The first time we saw some of our photo’s I couldn’t hold back the tears…it was as if we relived every single moment, you can’t believe the difference a GOOD photographer makes, and let’s admit it, at the end of it all, all the preparation all the stressing and all the tears…after your big day all you have left to remind you of how breathtaking your special day was is the photo’s that you trusted your photographers to take.

We love them to bits and will recommend them to anyone any day.

Gerhard and Lee were the very first and last photographers we met with for our wedding!! You will not make a mistake with choosing them to make your day spectacular!

As a wedding coordinator I have worked with Gerhard &Lee on numerous weddings. The best words to describe them and their work is ABSOLUTELY PASSIONATE!! Describing perfection seems impossible but when you see their work you realise that this is exactly what you would want on your wedding day. They capture all the special moments and with that create a masterpiece album for you to always remind you of this one special day in your life. I would not recommend any other photographers. Gerhard and Lee cover all angles of the wedding, before, during and after. Nothing is too much effort for them. They spend time with the couples beforehand to ensure they know your likes and dislikes. I have tremendous respect for them, their work and their passion!!

Organising a South African wedding from overseas can be very stressful, and sometimes you just need to land on your feet with something. That is exactly what happened when we discovered Gerhard and Lee. From the word go, they were professional, friendly, and best of all, absolutely dedicated to making our day special.

We booked Gerhard and Lee without meeting them in person, which at the time felt like a risk. We couldn't have been more wrong, as from the moment we first met them we knew we had made the right choice. We met up on a couple of occasions before our wedding day, and so when the day came, we did not just have photographers at our wedding, we had two extra friends. Gerhard and Lee are undoubtedly extremely good at what they do, but they bring an extra element of fun and enjoyment to what could be a stressful day.

And as if that wasn't already enough, the finished product you get when you receive your pictures and your album is the icing on top of the cake. The attention to detail and the time and effort that goes into making it is truly special, and what you get is a result that has captured the magic of your special day forever. We struggled so much to decide on pictures for the album, as almost every photo could have been included. Another special touch was that we were allowed to be very involved in the creation of the album once we had chosen our pictures, and so the end product is exactly what we wanted.
